Author Okechukwu C. Ezechi Unravels His Literary Journey
In 2017 I wrote "Jumbo Black".
In the year 2019 I began writing "Agent Black ~1966" and "Azadoz & Bankole" (African Sci-Fi books) with hopes to integrate science fiction into African Literature. "Agent Black" would later be renamed "Sani". In the year 2020, I wrote my first official Collection of Poems (about hundred pages) titled "Tropical Visage~ A Collection of Poems", from raw cultural, direct or indirect experiences.
These were the first books upon which so many others took their leap from, but most importantly, these books were written when Artificial Intelligence weren't even a common thing in Africa, not to talk of, in literature.
My first official non-fictional book, was "The Serpent in the System and You" (2010) and "The State of the Nation" (2010-11) both unpublished books, but whose elements became vital in the writing of "The Grand Book of Eternal Man", "The Black Codex", "Alkebulan Creed", and the "Obsidian Man" series. "The State of the Nation" inspired and found place in the books "Sani" and "1966, After and Now".
So, basically, it had been a web of interconnectivity between ideas continually taking form in different books, but with a single element of purpose and theme.
